Accommodation Zakopane — Camp Harenda with amazing view of the Tatra Mountains
Welcome to Camp Harenda Zakopane, a private, fenced sanctuary spanning 1.4 hectares. If you are searching for authentic camping Zakopane style, we offer an idyllic base for your Tatra Mountains camping adventure, blending breathtaking panoramas with genuine mountain tranquility. Whether you are pitching a tent or seeking a motorhome friendly haven, you will find the perfect spot to rest. And because we believe a true mountain getaway includes the whole family, we are a proudly dog-friendly space — so please, bring your four-legged companion along for the journey!
Stretching across an area larger than two football pitches, our expansive green grounds ensure you never feel crowded. For anyone planning a road trip and looking for the very best of camping Poland, this is what freedom feels like. It doesn’t matter if you arrive in a classic car, a caravan, a modern campervan, or a lovingly converted van. You are not just warmly welcomed here; you are guaranteed to find plenty of space to stretch out, set up camp, and call this slice of the mountains your own.
You can catch your breath and step back from the everyday on our spacious camping field, in our cozy guest rooms, or inside traditional wooden cabins built in the authentic highland style. Whichever way you choose to spend your Tatra Mountains holiday, you will wake up to fantastic, unobstructed views. The majestic peaks of Kasprowy Wierch, Giewont, and Żółta Turnia stand tall on the horizon, feeling so close you could almost reach out and touch them.
Nature feels completely at home within our fenced grounds on the Gubałówka slopes. Here, it is entirely possible to start your morning to the chorus of birdsong and end it tracing constellations across a brilliant, unpolluted night sky. In the heat of summer, our native ash and birch trees offer gentle, dappled shade. When winter arrives, the snow-covered firs and spruces not only pose for the perfect photo but also stand as silent guardians, sheltering the camp from the crisp spring wind.
If your idea of the perfect evening involves a crackling fire, head to our dedicated campfire and barbecue area. It is a favorite gathering spot, whether you are a connoisseur grilling oscypek (traditional smoked mountain cheese) or simply a fan of feasting under the open sky. During the colder months, we invite you into our Fireside Lounge. This warm, inviting sanctuary is the heart of our winter camping near Zakopane experience; the ideal place for board games, shared stories, and unwinding by the glowing hearth.
Camp Harenda is your year-round haven: perfect for a magical Christmas, a memorable New Year’s Eve, winter ski breaks, or long summer holidays. With free 24/7 WiFi, you can comfortably work remotely or map out tomorrow’s trail adventures, all while gazing at the peaks. No matter the season, every single day here is exceptional.
